He is survived by: his sons, David Hypes, Danny Hypes (Loretta) of Hico, WV and Darrell Eugene Hypes (Regina) of Hico, WV.; and his siblings, Violet, Bun Carte of Hico, WV, Francis, Charlie Asbury of Hickory, NC, Russell Hypes (Linda) and Delbert (Susan Hypes). He is also survived by children and 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
