With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hubert R. Cooper of Hico, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cooper and Opal Cooper; his wife Edna Ford Cooper; and his siblings, Curtis Cooper, Marlene Watson, Leon Cooper, Loretta Lilly and Margarette Thompson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Louise Hertzog, David Cooper, Kenneth Cooper, Larry Cooper and Roger Cooper; and his niece Courtney Cooper Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Beckley VA Hospital in his name.
