He was predeceased by: his parents, Kiley E. Cornwell and Martha A. Cornwell; and his sisters, Lois Howell Shafer and Rebecca Davis. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Cornwell (Friend) of Virginia; his sons, Stephen E. Cornwell (Christie) of Stephens City, VA, Gregory K. Cornwell (Renee) of Winston-Salem, NC and Timothy S. Cornwell (Sarah) of Barcelona, Spain.; his grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Mackenzie, Conner, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Alexandra, Grant and Denton Cornwell; and his siblings, Mildred Davis, Luther Cornwell, David Cornwell and Donald Cornwell. He is also survived by his family and friends.
