He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Jackson and Stella Mae Erskine Wykle; and his brothers, Wallace, Paul, Elmer and Tom Wykle.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Kirkham Wykle; his children, Dena Pivont (Lee) of Hinton, WV and Lake Wykle (Amy) of Nimitz, WV; his siblings, Nellie Massey of Ronceverte, WV, Juanita Wykle of Charlottesville, VA and Ellery Wykle (Phyllis) of Pence Springs, WV; his grandchildren, Evan Smith (Dustin) of Fairmont, WV, Avery Pivont of Morgantown, WV, Nathan of Morgantown, WV, Samuel Wykle of Morgantown, WV, Gavin Pivont (Levi Jones) of Morgantown, WV and Sullivan Pivont of Morgantown, WV; his great grandchildren, Sawyer Rae Smith and Laramie Grey Smith of Fairmont, WV; and his brothers-in-law, Norman L. Kirkham of Lowell, WV and Frank B. Kirkham (Terri) of Hinton, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
