He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Wheeler Cales; his children, Michael Lee Cales I (Kimberly), Bobby Lynn Cales (Stacy) and Susan Dawn "Baby" Dickenson (Jason "Buck"); his grandchildren, Michael L. Cales II (Sarah), Carrie J. Weikle (Shawn), Dakota J. Cales (Mary Jane), Jaiden A. Dickenson (Ella) and Mylee M. Dickenson; his great grandchildren, Colton, Kenna Weikle, Ivy, Cullen Cales and Jude Cales; his brother Billy Jack Cales (Karen); and his niece Asenath Easter.
