She was predeceased by : her parents, Leatice G. "Ram" Ratliff and Evelyn Garten Ratliff of Virginia; her husband Jimmy Adkins; and her siblings, Zettie Walton, Bobby, Johnny and Ronnie Ratliff.
She is survived by : her nephews, Tommy Ratliff of Richmond, VA and Johnny Ratliff (Teresa) of Hilldale; and her niece Betty Ratliff of Craigsville, VA. She is also survived by several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
