He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Reed and Marie Williams Reed; his siblings, Doug Reed and Janie Ratliff; and his grandson Adam Cooper.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen Charlton Reed; his children, Michael Reed of Cross Lanes and Vicki Reed Cooper (Matt) of Ridgeview, WV; and his sister Betty Crook (Orville) of Chesapeake, VA..

David Lee Reed, age 70, of Madams Creek, died Monday, August 8, 2022, at Summers County ARH Hospital following a long, hard battle with Parkinson's Disease.
