We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2023, at the age of 88, Dolores Jane Freeman of Hinton, West Virginia, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Eiesenberger and Mary Gantz Eiesenberger; her former life partner Frank Shaeffer; her husband Nepoleon Freeman; her sons, Tommy Lee Shaeffer and John S. Shaeffer; and her granddaughter Dayna Shaeffer.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph Shaeffer of Lancaster, PA, Susan Mills of Hinton and Amy Shaeffer of Lancaster, PA; her stepson Anthony Freeman; and her sister Peggy J. Larsen of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
