He is survived by: his wife Jean Bartgis Ray of Hilldale; his sons, William Joseph Ray of West Jefferson, NC and Guy Anthony Ray (Sandy) of Bristol, TN; his stepdaughter Judy Bowles (Rocky); his grandchildren, Monica Worley, Nichole McGuire, Danielle Slaven, Hannah Maxwell, Jessi Kennedy, Brandon Ray and Lauren Young; and his stepgrandson Larry Bowles. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
