She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin E. Williams and Daisy Richmond Boone Williams; her husband Edward Maddy; her half-siblings, Josephine Patterson, Lou Freda Belcher, Patsy Rush and Shelby Boone; and her brother Ricky Williams.

She is survived by : her son Mark Maddy (Kelly); her grandchildren, Savion, Jasmine and Kingsley Maddy; and her siblings, Delmas Williams (Mary), Kenneth Williams, Larry Williams (Sue), Jeannie Hicks and Gail Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
