He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Scott and Maycle Scott; and his brothers, Randolph and Jerry. He is survived by : his significant other Donna Sue; his children, Kim (Dan Crane), Jack (Kristi Scott) and Paula (Billy Rhodes); his grandchildren, Jeff, Jared, Russell, Taylor and Ellie; his great grandchildren, August and Koda; and his brother Steve.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Beckley VA Medical Center.
