With sadness, we share the passing of Marcia Gail Myers Ellington of Hinton, West Virginia. Marcia, born on July 31, 1954, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Frank "Popeye" Myers and Marie Brown Myers; her husband James "Jimmy" Ellington; her daughter Heather Robbins; and her brother-in-law Alan Harvey.
She is survived by: her sister Sue Ann Harvey of Princeton; her boyfriend Greg Bennett of Hinton; her close friend Betty Cales of Hinton; her stepdaughter Jamie Wittenborn (Richard Cox) of Hazel Green, Alabama; her stepgrandchildren, Brayden Wittenborn, Aubree Wainwright (Logan), Landen, Hunter, Kenzee, Izabella and Emmaleigh Whittenborn; her nephew Travis Harvey of Lynchburg, Virginia; and her pet Frankie. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Her final act of charity was one of extraordinary generosity: she chose to be an organ donor.
