He was predeceased by : his parents, Talmage Light and Sadie Harmon Light; his siblings, Jack Light, Ruth Lively and Mildred Wegman; his nephew Jack Light, Jr.; and his stepdaughter Julie Boggs.
He is survived by : his wife Julia Larew Long Light; his brother-in-law Clarence Wegman of Morrisville, NC.; his stepchildren, Gary Shanklin of Lewisburg, WV, Ernest Long (Elizabeth McIlwain) of Charlotte, NC, Suzanne (Eric Pelren) of Martin, TN and Wilbur Long (Kelly) of Charlotte, NC; his stepson-in-law Charles Boggs II of Dandridge, TN; his great-nieces, Tara (Ryan Mitchell) of Princeton, WV and Sarah (Nathan Turner) of Princeton, WV.; his stepgrandchildren, Gary Shanklin, Jr., Katelyn, Alex Boggs, Laurel, Joseph Pelren, Clara, Saydeann and Carly Long; and his stepgreat-grandchild Kyle Shanklin.
