He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Ward and Sally Taylor Weikle; his wife Diana Grace Lusk Weikle; his daughter Pameila Adkins; and his siblings, John, Charlie, Alfred, Robert, Ronald, Eldridge Weikle, Lilly Ward and Nancy Kellum.
He is survived by: his children, Darrin Weikle, Alice Frances Carter (Roger), David Weikle, James Weikle (Stacey Conrad) and Donna Adkins (Richard); his grandchildren, Jessica, Taisha, David Jr. and Jonathan; and his siblings, Paul Weikle and Mabel Bennett. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.
