He was predeceased by: his daughter Robyn Waggoner; his siblings, Johnny Cook, Sue Smith and Minnie Cook Meador; and his parents, Mary Frances Smith and John Henry Shrader.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his children, Chris Waggoner, Cindy Waggoner Boone (Bryan Boone) and Nellie Smith Sigman (Doug Sigman); his grandchildren, Derrick Waggoner, Justin Sigman (Corie), Brandon Boone (Cheyenne), Cody Boone (Miranda) and Jordan Sigman Farley (Michael); and his brother Willard Cook. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel (130 Temple St, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
