He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Anderson Patrick Sr. and Eva Marie Patrick (Ratliff); his brothers, Charles and Jackie Lee; his nephew David Patrick; his niece Jeanie Lee Meador (Patrick); his grandchildren, Stephen Patrick Jr., Kevin Scott Patrick and Erica Williams; and his close friend Ray Whittle.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Patrick (Williams); his brother Richard Patrick; his sister-in-law Gladys of Florida; his son Stephen Patrick; his daughter-in-law Rhonda of North Carolina; his grandson Joseph Patrick; his daughter-in-law Mary of Virginia; his granddaughter Melissa Biggy (Patrick); his son-in-law David of New Jersey; his stepson Jimmy Williams; his daughter-in-law Joy of Hinton; his stepchildren, Wendy Williams of Hilldale and David Williams; his daughter-in-law Michelle of Hinton; his grandchildren, Christian Patrick, Charity DeHerrera (Patrick), Devonne Patrick, Herb Wills III, J. J. Williams, Ashley Roop (Williams), Austin Williams, Felicia Williams, Shawna Brown, Joshua Williams, Thomas Williams and Stephenie Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Charles, Ricky, Michael Patrick, Shawn Broch, Jane Spangler, Sarah Patrick, Lori Jones, Kim Bartos, Cindy Meacham, Joyce Mehlhoff and Jewel Patrick. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
