He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his children, Christina Starsick (John), Amanda Cook and Gary "G. W." Shamblin, Jr.; his grandsons, Austin Shamblin (Courtney), Connor and Colton Hilton; his great grandchild Sawyer Shamblin; and his siblings, Dale Shamblin and Vickie Jean Skyles. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to support Nitro Elementary Pre-School Program.
