It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Perry Kennedy (Hundred, West Virginia), born in Wadestown, West Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Jackson Kennedy and Dessie Dora Kennedy (Lemley); his wife Alberta L. Kennedy (Moore); his siblings, Everett, Truman, Herbert Kennedy and Hazel Kent; his son-in-law Julian "Tiny" Cheslock; and his grandchildren, Tharron and Jill Earl.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kathy (Frank Martinelli), Sharon Cheslock of Laurel Point, Carol (Robert Copeland), Kim (Jerry Tennant) and Kandy (Randy Earl). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
