He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hopkins and Margaret Hopkins; and his siblings, Dennis Hopkins, Dale Hopkins and Debbie Hopkins Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Hopkins; his daughters, Christina Rickman (Charlie) of Lakeland, Fla., Sarah Gissel (R. K.) of Huntington, Elizabeth Watts (Jody) of Wayne and W. Va; his grandchildren, Shane Crislip, David Crislip, Lilly Gissel, Korey Watts, Kaden Watts and Kloey Watts; and his siblings, Diane Yucum and David Hopkins. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
