She was predeceased by : her parents, James Carl and Hardie Ray Johnson. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Spencer (Roy) and Kenneth Johnson (Vicki); and her grandson Eran Stenson. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marie Redd Senior Center, 1750 9thAvenue, Huntington, WV 25703 or to 16th Street Baptist Church.
