She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Carver and Otha Adkins Carver; her husband Burwell M. Spurlock, Jr.; her siblings, Hester McKeand, Dorothy Burke, Euella Webb and Roy Carver; and her son-in-law Johnny Adkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Adkins and Elizabeth Taylor; and her grandchildren, Christie Robertson, Burwell Taylor, Michael Adkins, David Taylor, Mark Adkins and Robert Taylor. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
