He is survived by: his sons, Geoffrey Layne (Ashley) of Huntington, WV. and Chris Layne (Lori) of Chesterfield, VA.; his siblings, Harry Layne (Brenda) of South Point, OH, Betty Brown of Ashland, KY and Shirley Oden of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Christian Layne, Alexander Layne, Berkleigh Layne, Alexis Layne and Darian Layne; and his great grandchild Alayna Kellum.
