He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Henry and Rose Marshall Followay; his grandson Caleb Legg; and his siblings, Peggy Followay, Kenneth and Leonard Followay.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Cricks Followay; his children, Joanna Legg (Jimmy) of Huntington, WV, Brittany Nance (Ryan Massie) of Lavalette, WV and Eric Followay (Christina) of Huntington, WV; his siblings, Sharon McSweeney of Interlachen, FL, Beverly Mcclellan of Wayne, WV, Dorothy Maynard of Wayne, WV, Bonnie Pelfrey of Wayne, WV, Brenda Mcclellan (Ancil) of Wayne, WV and Danny Followay of Wayne, WV; his grandchildren, Dylan Legg, Cole Legg, Carsen Nance and Addilyn Nance; and his niece Brenda Kay Stull.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
