She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward McKinley and Laura Christian (Scarberry); her son Rick Preston; her grandsons, Joshua and Michael Preston; and her son-in-law David Rojay.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Preston; her daughters, Karen Rodgers (Rojay), Tamah Thea Wells (Bob) and Peggy Anna Preston (Tiller); her daughter-in-law Linda Vincent Preston; her grandchildren, Daniel Rojay (Alana), Jarrod (Cassie), Benjamin (Jordyn), Joseph, Katie Rose Wells, Kaleb (Sylvia), Seth and Savannah Tiller (Ethan Marcum); her great grandchildren, Preston Tiller and Liam Wells; her sisters, Reva Freeman, Betty Irene Morris and Sue Kremski (Gary); her siblings-in-law, Sally Dishun, Betty Ward, Janet Bailey, Sandy Moorehead, Betsy Gillette, Jack, Joe and Steve Preston; her siblings, Minnie Staley, Raymond, Ken Christian, Charlotte Maynard, Mary Preston and Helen Norgard; and her siblings-in-law, June Perry, Penny McKenzie, Mae Preston, Edd and David Preston.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704).
