She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Wells; her son Terry Wells; and her siblings, Hobert, Wilson, Lyman, Robert, Madeline, Elizabeth, Inez, Imogene, Alice, Colleen, Ruth and Lilian.
She is survived by: her son Roger Wells (Sherry); her daughter-in-law Bonnie Wells; her grandchildren, April, Toby, Maridyth, Brent (Tabitha), Stacy (Mike), Christian (Kristen), Heather and Matthew (Christy); and her close friend Rosalie Boyles. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene (3937 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arlene's memory to Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 1297, Scott Depot, WV 25560, or to Kanawha Hospice.
