She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Ashburn Gum Guill and Captain Harold Gum; and her husband David Ball. She is also survived by several nieces and cousins, as well as her church family.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park (2466 Main St, Hurricane, WV 25526).
