He was predeceased by: his father Lillard Gibson; his wife Lucy Gay Gibson; and his siblings, Paula Roach, Donnie Childers and Chuck Gibson.
He is survived by: his sons, Billy Scott Gibson (Rachael) of Hurricane, Kip Gibson of Hurricane and Matt Gibson of Hurricane; his brother Dave Gibson of Scott Depot; and his grandchildren, Destiny Gibson, Alee Gibson, Todd Gibson, Dennis Ray Gibson, Chelsey Rae Gibson and Marlene Rae Gibson. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
