It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Salango of Hurricane, West Virginia, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Lawson and Sybil Lawson (Sampson); her husband Thomas Salango; and her siblings, Arnold Lawson, Glenda Lawson, Phyllis Williams, Jeanette Compton, Vickie Sizemore, Betty Goad and Lois Presley.

She is survived by : her children, Michelle Carte (Chad) of Fayetteville, NC and Jeff Titta (Earlena) of Elkview; her grandchildren, Hannah, Jackson Carte and Sarah Titta; and her siblings, Carol McKinney (Calvin) of Charleston, Donnie Lawson (Linda) of Mullens and Ronnie Lawson of Randleman, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
