She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Janet Alline Absher of Morehead, KY and William David Absher III of Morehead, KY; her parents, Charles and Mary Childers, Jr. of Huntington, WV; her brother-in-law Harold; and her sister Suzanne Raynor, Jr. of Aiken, SC..
She is survived by: her husband Edgar "Ed" Ellison III; her daughter Amy Absher-Boling (Jason) of Lexington, KY; and her grandchildren, Courtney of Lexington, KY, William Absher IV of Lexington, KY and Kimber Boling of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Forrest Burdette Memorial Methodist Church (2848 Putnam Ave, Hurricane, WV 25526). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
