It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Nelson Watson of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Sue Thevenin Watson and John Nelson Watson Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Tamra Tomaszewski (Richard) of Hurricane, WV and Brian Watson (Nancy) of Milton, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, several nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many other family members.
