He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Hensley and Tootsie Hensley; his grandparents, Ola Gooch, Garland and Violet Hensley; his nephew Nathan Hensley; and his brother-in-law Dale Chatterton.

He is survived by : his son Brandon Scott Hensley; his siblings, Tina Chatterton, Greg Hensley (Karen) and Gordon "Sonny" Hensley, Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Megan McKenzie (Jacob), Devin Chatterton, Emily Hensley, Cailin Queen (Erik) and Sunnie Henlsey.
