He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jo Gibson Lanham; his mother Emogene Frances Lanham; and his siblings, Orville Brooks Lanham, Jr. and Brenda Jean Wolfe. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Phillips (Joshua) of Cross Lanes, WV and Cynthia Mai (Tony) of Midland, MI; his grandchildren, Jordan, Justin Phillips of Cross Lanes, Garret Mai of Billings, MT and Griffith Mai of Midland, MI; and his brother-in-law Pat Semenie. He is also survived by sisters-in-law as well as their husbands, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
