It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Nelson Jr. (Hurricane, West Virginia), who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Martha Nelson, Clarence and Audra Canterbury. He is survived by: his parents, Kelly G. Nelson Sr. of Hurricane and Betty June Rice of Foster, WV.; his sons, Trey (Emily), Bobby, Danny (Jessica) and David; and his grandchildren, Shyanne, Kerrigan, Ella, Audralee, Kash, Keegan, Burklee and Kingsley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cross Lanes Baptist Church (102 Knollwood Dr, Charleston, WV 25313). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (229 Rocky Step Rd, Scott Depot, WV 25560).
