He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alonzo, Sr. and Gladys Brooks (McDonald); and his sister Mary Louise Tait (Brooks). He is survived by: his wife Judith G. Brooks (Burdette); his children, Teresa (Jim Young), Bonnie Jo Brooks of Hurricane and Ed Brooks (Debbie) of Georgetown, KY; his grandchildren, Joseph B. Young, Kelsey Morgese (C.), Curtiss S. Brooks and Macy R. Brooks; his great grandchild Gabriel Morgese; his nephew D. Douglas Tait; and his niece Sandra (Tait). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
