It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sovine (Hurricane, West Virginia), who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son William "Rusty" Sovine. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne; his daughter Anita Stewart (John) of New Jersey; his stepchildren, Jimmy Armstrong, Robbie Armstrong, Jeff Daniels (Jessica) and Amy Overton (Allen); his grandchildren, Sean, Brittany (Lord), Ian and Jadyn; and his great grandchildren, Reza and Dara.
