We announce the death of Jean K. Gibson (Hurricane, West Virginia), who passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 81. Jean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her daughter Sherri Templeton; her parents, Jim Coburn and Rosalie Coburn; and her sisters, Patty Chandler and Glenna Childers.
She is survived by: her husband Darwin Gibson; her son-in-law Randy Templeton (Sherry); her granddaughter Tatum Ferguson (Josh); her great grandchildren, Gunner and Graham Ferguson; and her sister Lisa Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Jean's name to: Hubbard Hospice House 1001 Curtis Price Way Charleston, WV 25311.
