She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ward and Laura Belle Combs; her daughter Melinda Herdman; and her brother Joe Combs Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Spencer Jr.; her children, Tammy Davis of Hurricane, WV, J. T. Spencer (Angela) of Hurricane, WV, Austin Hedrick (Brianna) of Smithfield, OH and Angela Crouch (Howard) of Dunbar, WV; her siblings, Laura Jo Rodeheaver (Marshall) of Cross Lanes, WV and Steve Combs (Tracy) of Cross Lanes, WV; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family.
