She was predeceased by: her parents, James Garland and Alma Mae Davis; her husband Billy Junior Thacker; and her siblings, Eloise Vangilder, Madeline Handley, Garland "Chuck" Davis, James "Van" Davis, James "Jim" Davis, Alvin Davis, Phillip Edward Davis and William "Bill" Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Lynn Long of Hurricane, WV; her grandchildren, Megan Dastgheib and Isaiah Long; and her siblings, Julie Neal, Judy Sowards, Paul Davis, Dorothy Berry and Linda Dustin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mount Vernon Cemetery (2150 Mount Vernon Rd, Hurricane, WV 25526).
