He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Angela Bird (Greg) and Heather Evans (Bret); his siblings, Jinkie Bays and Buster Sovine (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Porcha, Natasha, Skylar and Haven; and his great grandchildren, DJ, Chesney, Bentlee, Dayton, Zoey and Devan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (2837 Main St, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
