He is survived by: his wife Midge Smith; his children, Ronald Smith II and Tracy Barton; his grandchildren, Tyler (Francesca), Peyton (Shanda) and Joshua Barton; his great grandchild Giovanni Barton; his brother Allen Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Smith and Diana Wilson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
