He was predeceased by: his son Lewis Day; and his mother Sandy Day. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jo Day; his daughters, Mary Underwood of Tennessee and Wendi Day of Hurricane; his granddaughters, Ryleigh Day of Charleston, WV and Emilee Jobe of Poca, WV; and his siblings, Kimberly Moore, Kelli Day and Tim Day.
