She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Short and Thelma Short; and her daughter Amanda Drake. She is survived by: her son Donald Drake, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Tristin Drake, Ashley Drake, Justin Drake and Sara Drake. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
