Sheila leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sheila’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sheila will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransford Ransom and Opal Ransom. She is survived by: her husband Kim Winter of Ona; her brother Kaven Ransom (Liz) of Hurricane; her nephews, Nicholas Ransom (Heather) and Scott Ransom (Jennifer); and her great-nephews, Zane and Zeke Ransom.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (2150 Co Rte 34/14, Hurricane, WV 25526). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church or Hospice.
