He is survived by: his children, Glynnis Vanover, Susie Keene (JT), Iaeger and Lucas Matney Jr. (Marsha); his grandson Benny Matney of Washington State; his siblings, Rosie Davis (Tommy) of North Carolina and Shirley Ray Powell (Eunice); his close friends, Ronnie Shrader (Teresa), Danny Kennedy (Geraldine "Dena"), Quillin Bailey (Nancy) and Bob Blankenship; and his nieces, Teresa Auville (Speedy) and Mary Hagerman (Allen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
