He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Elzie and Lecta Lorene Stewart Roberts; his grandson Timmy Roberts, Jr.; his great grandchild Hunter Mitchem; his brothers, Eddie Dean Roberts, Chester Roberts and Stanley Roberts; and his sister-in-law Maggie Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Roberts; his children, Ricky Roberts (Marta) of Hiddenite, NC, Timmy Roberts (Katrina) of Hiddenite, NC, Melissa Thornsbury (David) of Iaeger, Lesha Lester (Eddie) of Princeton and Tia Cooper (Burlyn Jr.) of Iaeger; his grandchildren, Derrick, Brandon, Josh, Amber, Shawn, Clarissa, Justin, Jacob, Miranda, Kaylee, Ethan, Anthony, Eric and Tianna; his siblings, Judy Walker (Dale) of Kimball and Cecil Roberts of Landgraff; his sister-in-law Linda Roberts of Welch; and his pet Gizmo. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Cathedral Church (5162 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
