She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Benjamin "Benny" Cain and Mary Kendall Cain; her former husband Charles Terry Shaffer; her husband David Ray White; and her brothers, Ira Delmas Cain and Joe Skarzinski.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Patrick Shaffer (Diane) and T. Jenine Fairley; her grandchildren, Zachery Charles Shaffer (Brittany), Ian Gabriel Fairley, Ella Diane Watson and Kaylee Michelle Watson; her great grandchildren, Carson Douglas Shaffer and Parker Brian Shaffer; her sister-in-law Julie Dawn Munza (Rick); and her stepchildren, Debbie Eastep, Rodney White, Jane Lew and David Joseph White (Serena). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
