With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Margaret Plum of Independence, West Virginia, born in Newburg, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Martin and Opal Prentice Martin (Sine); her husband Donald Gene "Don" Plum; and her siblings, George "Buddy" Prentice, Mary Cunningham and Betty Bargess.

She is survived by : her son Howard "Zack" Plum; her nephew Lynn Teets (Michelle); her nieces, Mary Edith Johnson (Alan) and Carol Frisby (Tom); her great-nephews, Gavin Teets and Roy Utt (Sherri); her brother-in-law Larry Teets; and also, Susan Hunter, Ruth Enlow and Doris Plum.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Field Funeral Home (10537 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Masontown, WV 26542). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
