He was predeceased by : his parents, Flo-Raleigh Kerr and Charles D. Kerr; and his brother Samuel Kerr. He is survived by : his wife Shelly Kerr; his children, Chuck Kerr (Candice), Jessie Erickson (Noah) and Casey Kerr; his stepdaughter Emily Stangle (Joshua); his grandchildren, Xavier Kerr and Gabrielle Stangle; and his sisters, Denise Wolf (Jimmy), Sandy Hovermale (Mike), Renee Kesecker (Lynn) and Florie Lucas (Rex). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Charles "Bucky" Kerr to Recovery Alive at New Life Community Church or to The Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission.
