With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Barr of Inwood, West Virginia, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Jackson Barr and Beryl Channel Barr; and his son Jeremiah Daniel Barr. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Barr of Oceana, WV and Justin Barr (Sharon) of Colora, MD; his stepsons, Scott Blizzard (Traci) of Martinsburg, WV and Chad Blizzard of Bradenton, FL.; his daughter Trista Barr of Inwood, WV; his siblings, Gary Barr and Karen Betler of Catonsville, MD; and his pets, Raven, Dobby, Molly and Essie. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tomblyn Funeral Home (45 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
