We announce the death of David Bolyard (Inwood, West Virginia), born in Philippi, West Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 80. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his son Grant David Bolyard; his parents, James L. Bolyard and Myrtle Marie Bolyard (Loar); and his father-in-law William A Smith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda T. Bolyard; his children, Kristy Bolyard Stumpf (John) and Todd William Bolyard (Stacey); his grandchildren, Dwight William Bolyard, Lauren Stumpf Lovell (Ryan), Lacey Anderson Stumpf and Marley Claire Bolyard; his mother-in-law Shirley Gosnell Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Christian Smith and William B. Smith.
